No. 1: Overture
Gen.
1:1:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Proverbs 8:22-30
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of
old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever
the earth was.
When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when
[there were] no fountains abounding with water.
Before
the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet
he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of
the world. When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass
upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he
strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that
the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of
the earth:
Then I was by him, [as] one brought
up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him;
John 1:1 In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John
1:3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made
that was made.
Job 38:4
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if
thou hast understanding.
Psalms 102:25 Of old hast
thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens [are] the work of
thy
hands.
Col. 1:16
For by him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they
be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created
by him, and for him:
Psalms 148:5
Let
them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
Revelation 4:11
Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created
all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Psalm
8: 1-9
O LORD
our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory
above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained
strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the
avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the
stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and
the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower
than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all
[things] under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, [and whatsoever] passeth through
the paths of the seas.
O LORD
our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!
Romans
1: 20-21
For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they
knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became
vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Ezekiel 28: 15-17
Thou [wast]
perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found
in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee
with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out
of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the
midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,
thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to
the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Isaiah 14:12-15
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the
morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of
the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to
hell, to the sides of the pit.
Genesis 1:1-6
Now
the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had
made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every
tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the
garden: But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And
the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that
in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as
gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for
food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make
[one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.

Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so
death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 3:10-18
…, There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there
is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with
their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips:
Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet [are] swift to shed
blood: Destruction and misery [are] in their ways: And the way of peace have
they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Romans 3:19a
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are
under the law: that every mouth may be stopped,
Romans 3:19b-20 …and
all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law
there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the
knowledge of sin.
Isaiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they
shall be as wool.
John 1:29
...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Isaiah 53:3-6
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him
not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem
him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our
transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our
peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have
gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on
him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:7-10
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the
transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the
wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither
[was any] deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou
shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall
prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isaiah 53:11-12
He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his
knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their
iniquities. Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall
divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto
death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
I Timothy 2:5
For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus;
John 14:6
…, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
me.
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Hebrews 2:3
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began
to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];

Chronicles 29:11
Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the
victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is
thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
